Background
The Masons formally occupied the Masonic Temple on Cathedral Street in St. John’s, which was sold in 2006. It has always been planned that the Home of Freemasonry in the province would be in Masonic Park and that is now a reality.

Freemason’s Hall Mosaic Pavement |
May 7 2008
Brethren, last week Bro. Scott Bartlett asked me if I would take a few pictures of the Mosaic Pavement being laid in the Blue Room of our new Freemason’s Hall. I said I would. The work was started last week and finished on May 7, 2008. The pictures are attached and follow the progression of the work from bare floor to finish over a 5 day period.

CONSTRUCTION OF FREEMASONS HALL COMPLETE |
|
April 4 , 2008 Today construction of the Freemasons Hall at Masonic Park was substantially completed with the granting of an Occupancy Permit by the City of Mount Pearl. At the same time Masonic Park has granted a certificate of substantial completion to Eastern Contracting.

Sometime on Thursday night vandals broke into the new Freemasons Hall at Masonic Park and damaged walls and windows of the administration offices as well as discharged fire extinguishers into the walls and floors of the banquet hall and main Lodge rooms. |
