ADMISSION POLICIES

All tenants are selected in chronological order according to date application is received.

Preference is awarded only on basis of application date. Preference is not given to friends or relatives, persons who belong to the Masonic Fraternity or based on need.

Prospective tenants must be 55 years of age.

Persons other than a spouse living with tenants must be dependant on the other. Approval will be at the discretion of the Property Committee.

All persons living in Masonic Park who meet the criteria for admission must be named in the lease.

Any person who resides with an existing tenant, and is not named on lease, must seek the approval of the Property Committee; failure to do so could result in termination of the lease.

If an applicant on the Active list is offered accommodations and refuse, they will be placed on the Inactive list until they are ready to take accommodations.

Applicants on the Inactive list will not be called until we are notified to transfer them to the Active list.

All requests for transfer must be submitted to the Property Committee for consideration and approval. The tenant will bear the cost of transfer. Transfers will be made on a one (1) in four (4) basis, that is, one transfer for every four vacancies.
GENERAL POLICIES

Tenants who are causing disturbances to other tenants or who are a danger to themselves or others may be asked to seek alternate accommodations.

Tenants who are away from their units for an extended period should notify the Business Manager. Identification will be required for persons obtaining keys to an apartment, with prior permission, before keys are released.
Provision of guidelines will be attached to lease upon admission to the Complex.
