As we approach the completion of the Freemasons Hall at Masonic Park I would
like to take the opportunity to thank the everyone who has contributed to
the Masonic Park Freemasons Hall project ".in word as well as in deed." We
have made significant progress towards our goal of constructing a building
that will serve as the headquarters of the Masonic Fraternity in
Newfoundland and Labrador as well as provide recreational facilities to the
residents while maintaining the financial integrity of the existing assets.

WHITEWAY MEMEORIAL PLACED IN NEW FREEMASONS’ HALL |

On Thursday February 14th, 2008 the Whiteway Memorial, a 500 pound copper plated relief of Sir William Vance Whiteway was placed in the Blue Room of the new Freemasons’ Hall at Masonic Park.

Freemasons’ Hall Construction Update - Feb. 18, 2008 |
I am pleased to report that work is progressing well. Gyprock work on both floors is virtually complete, including plastering and first coat of paint in most areas. The elevator is presently being installed and should be complete by February 22.

Freemason’s Hall Construction Update |

As of January 23, 2008 work is progressing favourably, in spite of some lost time in January due to sever winter conditions. Electrical and Mechanical rough in work is now approximately 90% complete and should be totally complete by the end of January. |
